I want to do something big

although i'm not quite sure what that something might be.

it's hard to believe this is my last year of college! i was going through old pictures from freshman year and i miss it. i think i would have done a of things differently if i could go back. although some things i would keep the same.

It's starting to feel like fall...finally! Besides the annoying misty rain for the past two days, the temperature has been so comfortable. We finally got our satellite dish installed so I'm sitting here enjoying HBO while figuring out what classes I will take for my FINAL semester EVER. It's tough because I'm 3 hours (ad campaigns) away from graduating, but I need 12 hours to be considered full-time.

Enough about school. Here is what I'm currently enjoying for the fall season!

Update: after 45 minutes of waiting for my paper to save, I have officially not been able to do my other homework because now I'm way too tired.

And it will be in the 80's most of the week. Ew. Plus rain. Ew.

And of course it will be muggy and rainy on my 21st birthday. Wednesday to be specific. I hate my life right now. Hope tomorrow is better.

Back to school:

Kent State is much more lively during regular semesters than in the summer. I'm glad everyone is back finally...but I'm going home for a loooong weekend!

First few days of classes were decent. Pilates will be tough for me because I have weak back muscles...according to the professor. Whatev... we'll see what happens. Other than that, my classes are pretty standard: international marketing, personal selling, law, ethics... and history of rock & roll for fun.

I can't give up McDonald's FRIES! Bethany asked me to stop at McDonald's after we made extra key copies and I couldn't help but stuff my face with the golden deliciousness. I basically worked out for an hour (and probably didn't even burn enough calories) to eat the fries. what a life!

Things I need to do today:

1) Buy textbooks
2) Clean out car
3) Go candle shopping (okay, not necessary...but it's on the to-do list, so I have to)
4) Alphabetize DVD rack
5) Bake homemade, healthy muffins! MMMM
6) Buy curtains for upstairs window & entry way window

I painted my room today! The color is a pretty green called "Green Tea Latte" I can't wait until I'm all moved into the new house.

Makes me wanna latte.

I need:

- Bedding (color to be determined)
- Cute paper lanterns to hang in our long hallway
- Artificial pretty plant to put in hallway beside futon
- Bar stool w/back to use as my computer chair (already have a high-top compute desk. mod.)
- Cute lamp(s)
- Bookshelf (mine now might be too small)
- Decorative pillows (lame, but a necessity)


ETC ETC... need to go decor hunting.

I'm stuck on an old-school Toshiba laptop that barely stays on because I'm broke. If it wasn't such an inconvenience to find access to inDesign every single time I needed it, I would be fine with using a PC. However, that isn't the case.

me: Do you think if I upgraded to Windows 7 my computer would work better?
dad: I don't think it's the software. You just need a new computer. If you weren't insistent on a mac I would get one for you.


NOW WHAT DO I DO. Be inconvenienced by not having a working computer or be inconvenienced by getting a free computer and still no inDesign?

I recently deleted my Facebook (CRAZY, RIGHT?!) and I only kind of miss it. I miss it because I grew into the habit of creeping on people's lives just because it was right in front of me. Who does that? Anyway. I decided to take a break for a while, but of course I'll be back in a few weeks when school starts.

Someone stole my Wild Goats coffee mug at work. Or I...lost it? Either way, I had to drink my coffee out of my Christmas-themed Starbucks mug. Not very enjoyable. I'm weird about my mugs.

I'm still ChaCha-ing and my goal is to get to $150 by next week. It's really easy and my quality rating is at 98% so YAY!


PS- Project Runway was on tonight. Tim Gunn looks chubby or different or something. I can't figure it out.

I've been lazy all weekend. There was some especially good TV on surprisingly so I TiVoed a bunch of movies to watch for future bored days. The Shining, Ratatoullie, Lord of the Rings, etc etc.

Now I'm making lists of things I need to do before I move, during my move, and after my move.

I'm in desperate need of moving boxes. Blahhhh.
